Galatians 1:10
Am I now trying to win the approval of people or of God? Or am I trying to please people? If I were still trying to please people, I would not be a servant of Christ

Psalm 73:28  But as for me, it is good to be near God. I have made hte Sovereign Lord my refuge; i will tell of all your deeds.

Psalm 34:4-5  I sought the Lord and He answered me; He delivered me from all of my fears. Those who look to Him are radiant; their faces never covered with shame.

Lamentations 3:22  Because of the Lord's great love we are not consumed, for his compassions never fail.

Zephaniah 3:17  The Lord your God is with you, He is mighty to save. He will take great delight in you, He will quiet you with His love, He will rejoyce over you with singing.

Micah 6:8  He has showed you, O man, what is good. and what does the Lord require of you? To act justly and to love mercy and to walk humbly with your God.

Just some things i have found, and have been thinking about.

well, i figured that it was good time to update my xanga. a lot has gone on in my life since i last posted, a lot of new changes, and feelings, but all of the new isn't really all that bad. school has been a challenge, not the academic part but the relatoinship area has been a real struggle, now, dont get me wrong, my friends are great, its me. i finally got some things right, not on my own, but with the help of God, and a lot of patience. the only things that i found comfort in were God, my Bible, and all of you guys at church, and for that i owe thanks! but honestly, i found great comfort snuggling down and just reading my Bible, the verses i found to be most helpful were the following:

2 Timothy 1:7
For God did not give us a spirit of timidity, but a spirit of power, of love and self-discipline.

2 Corinthians 1:3-4
Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of compassion and the God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our troubles, so that we can comfort those in any trouble with the comfort we ourselves have received from God.

1 John 3:18
Dear children, let us not love with words or tongue but with actions and in truth.

i really found comfort and peace in these verses for the past few weeks, God really used them to speak to me, and to point me toward where i needed to go, and what i needed to do.

Artist: Matt Redman
Song: Mission's flame
Album: Facedown

[
" Facedown " CD]

Let worship be the fuel for mission's flame
We're going with a passion for Your name
We're going for we care about Your praise
Send us out

Let worship be the heart of mission's aim
To see the nations recognize Your fame
'Til every tribe and tongue voices Your praise
Send us out

You should be the praise of every tongue, Jesus
You should be the job of every heart
But until the fullness of Your kingdom comes
Until the final revelation dawns
Send us out

Every tribe, every tongue
Every creature in the heavens and the earth
Every heart, every soul
Will sing Your praise, will sing Your praise
Every note, every strain
Every melody will be for You alone
Every harmony that flows from every tongue
We'll sing Your praise, we'll sing Your praise
We'll sing Your praise, we'll sing Your praise
